Phased plan
Section titled “Phased plan”Phase 1: Substrate
Section titled “Phase 1: Substrate”Extend the existing object store with author, source, confidence, region, and epistemic type fields. Implement the append-only event log. Rebuild the search index as a materialized view. Establish raw ingestion as immutable ground truth.
Phase 2: First colony
Section titled “Phase 2: First colony”Agent registry with named principals. Policies and procedures as documents in the store. Initial agent roles: Scribe (ingest), Analyst (synthesize), Archivist (decay/archive), Editor (resolve conflicts), Steward (monitor health). Evidence-backed writes with source chain tracking.
Phase 3: Governance
Section titled “Phase 3: Governance”Hypothesis objects with validation/invalidation conditions. Resolution records for contradictions. Consensus mechanism for promotion to structural memory. Convention change process with quorum and audit trail.
Dependencies
Section titled “Dependencies”Phase 2 is blocked on Synixolis protocol validation. The Reduced Instruction Set (RIS) coordination spec is being used as a testbed for validating protocol primitives before proceeding.
Synixolis spec sections §4 (Inference Optimization) and §10 (Open Questions) are pending.
Success criteria
Section titled “Success criteria”Phase 3 completion would demonstrate that a colony of named agents can maintain a knowledge store over time — synthesizing, consolidating, resolving conflicts, tracking evidence, and evolving procedures — without manual intervention.
